Here in our online store we are offering a few basic conical shapes you may be able to use. They are made from 18 gauge CRS for the heavy strength and weldability. Please review them if they may work for you.

The conical shape is the hardest shape to form and one of the easiest ones by metal spinning. The small end of the tool is a fixed size but the vertical height can be shortened or lengthened to a particular diameter depending on the tool. The small end can be cut away at most any point also to make a tapered cylinder from a spun cone. Most of our tools are made with a hole (typically 13/32") in the small end but can be made without a hole if needed. Materials can be Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Steel or Stainless with others possible in many different thicknesses.

We specialize in custom parts. Some shapes such as conical cylinders and similar shapes can be spun starting with a tube.

We have in excess of 100 existing tapered tools which we may be able to provide you parts with no tooling cost to you. If you do need something special or not shown here we will be happy to provide you with a quote based on your needs. Please provide us with an RFQ with dimensions and material for a custom quote.
